Patna, Feb 10 (NationPress) The BJP MLA representing Bankipur and the newly-elected BJP National President, Nitin Nabin, made his inaugural visit to the Bihar Legislative Assembly on Tuesday following his recent appointment. Members from various parties extended a heartfelt welcome, while Assembly Speaker Prem Kumar officially acknowledged his presence on behalf of the House.

In his address, Nitin Nabin shared his heartfelt appreciation, describing the occasion as a surprising milestone in his two-decade legislative career. “Over the past 20 years, I never envisioned this day. I am thankful to the entire House for the goodwill and blessings shown by the senior members here,” he remarked.

Reflecting on his time as a legislator, Nabin highlighted that the Assembly is an essential platform for addressing public concerns and representing the populace's voice. He pointed out that legislators must learn to advocate effectively for public welfare while maintaining the House's dignity and decorum.

Recalling his entry into the Assembly in 2006, he noted his close observations of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s governance. Without aligning himself with either the ruling party or the opposition, Nabin characterized the period since 2005 as transformative for Bihar.

“As a student studying outside Bihar during that time, we often encountered negative stereotypes about the state. However, looking at Bihar from 2006 to 2026, I believe that the positive recognition it receives today is the result of two decades of image transformation,” he commented.

Nitin Nabin acknowledged Prime Minister Modi for his trust and stressed the significance of functioning within institutional frameworks. He noted that Bihar has seen numerous leaders who have contributed to its advancement and that the present generation should be inspired by leadership characterized by service, transparency, and an understanding of ground realities.

Emphasizing governance values, he remarked that the Prime Minister exemplifies a spirit of service, while Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has concentrated on ensuring transparency in governance and guiding Bihar through difficult times. “Such leadership continues to inspire us,” he added.

During his speech, Nabin became emotional as he remembered his late father, Naveen Kishore Sinha. He expressed that his political path has always been influenced by his father's principles. “In today’s world, public representatives must engage with the people in ways that allow our work to speak for us long after we are gone. True political success is being remembered for impactful contributions,” he stated. His address received positive feedback from the Assembly members, marking a pivotal moment in his political journey.
