New Delhi, March 30 (NationPress) BJP National President Nitin Nabin announced his resignation from the position of elected Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for the Bankipur constituency in Bihar on Monday.

Nabin reflected on his political beginnings, stating: “To all my family and party worker comrades from Bankipur and Bihar, following the sudden loss of my father in January 2006, the party entrusted me with the opportunity to contest the by-election for Patna West. I was elected for the first time on April 27, 2006, which marked the start of my social and political endeavors.”
He continued: “For the past 20 years, I have been committed to nurturing, beautifying, and advancing this constituency—built by my late father, Nawin Kishore Prasad Sinha. I have dedicated myself to the development of my area and Bihar. Consequently, the incredible people here have blessed me with the privilege of serving as their representative for five consecutive terms. Both inside and outside the Assembly, I have consistently raised the concerns of my constituents and sought solutions to their challenges.”
Discussing his time in the Assembly and as a minister, he mentioned: “As a member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly, I have learned extensively from many senior MLAs from both the ruling and opposition parties. I have addressed numerous significant issues in my area, incorporating feedback from the community and fellow workers.”
“Under the guidance of our esteemed Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji and Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar ji, I was honored to serve as a minister in the Bihar government, where I successfully implemented several pivotal decisions, policies, and schemes. Upon announcing his resignation, Nabin stated: “Today, I am stepping down from my role as the elected member representing the Bankipur constituency in the Bihar Legislative Assembly.”
