In a video message released on Sunday, Biju Janata Dal (BJD) president Patnaik stated, “Since the BJP took control of the state, incidents of violence against women have surged significantly. Women participating in the Mission Shakti programme are facing harassment, and the reputation of Odisha is being damaged.”
“They have terminated the Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana, leading to challenges for patients. This administration is detrimental to women, tribal communities, and overall development. The BJP's defeat will initiate from Nuapada, with your assistance,” he added.
He urged the residents of the Nuapada Assembly constituency to ensure the victory of the party's candidate, Snehangini Chhuria, in the by-election by voting for the BJD. The BJD leader also committed to serving Odisha tirelessly.
