Comprehensive measures are in place to guarantee a smooth, fair, and malpractice-free examination process.
The minister revealed that question papers have been fortified with advanced security features, such as watermarking and unique printing patterns, to thwart any potential leakage or duplication.
In addition, strict monitoring systems have been implemented, mirroring the successful execution of exams in previous years without significant irregularities.
Focusing on surveillance, Gond emphasized that CCTV monitoring will be active at all examination centers to uphold transparency and discipline. He expressed confidence that students will approach the exams in a positive and stress-free atmosphere, wishing them well in their academic endeavors.
Reports indicate that over 4 lakh students in Odisha are set to participate in this year's annual Plus Two examinations on Wednesday (February 18), which includes approximately 3.76 lakh regular candidates.
The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), an autonomous entity under the School and Mass Education Department, oversees the +2 examinations in the state. Meanwhile, the annual Matriculation examinations are slated to commence on February 19, with 5,61,979 students registered to take the exams across the state.
These assessments are managed by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha (BOSE), which conducts the High School Certificate examination process annually.
This year, extensive arrangements, including security personnel and monitoring at the center level, have been established to ensure the fair conduct of examinations across more than 3,000 centers statewide.
The government has stressed that all measures are directed towards providing a safe and supportive environment for students while preserving the integrity of the examination process.
