Rajasthan BJP chief Rathore slams Opposition's selective trust in ECI after Bengal defeat
Rajasthan Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Madan Rathore on Tuesday, 5 May sharply criticised opposition parties for questioning the Election Commission of India (ECI) following their defeat in the West Bengal Assembly elections, while simultaneously celebrating victories in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Speaking in Jaipur, Rathore argued that selectively doubting constitutional institutions only when electoral outcomes are unfavourable reflects a convenience-driven approach to democracy.
