Parcel Containing Body Delivered to Woman in Andhra Pradesh

Amaravati, Dec 20 (NationPress) A woman in the West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh was taken aback when she received a parcel that contained the body of an unknown person.
This chilling event took place in Yendagandi village located in Undi mandal of the West Godavari district.
The woman, recognized as Naga Tulsi, had previously filed a request with the Kshatriya Seva Samithi seeking financial assistance to build her home. In response, the Samithi had delivered tiles to her.
Seeking additional aid for her construction project, Tulsi approached the Samithi once again, which had assured her of providing electrical appliances. She received a WhatsApp message indicating that items such as lights, fans, and switches would be supplied.
On Thursday night, a person arrived at her home with a box, claiming it contained electrical appliances.
However, upon opening the parcel, Tulsi was horrified to uncover the body of an individual.
This discovery sent her family into a state of panic, prompting them to notify the police, who quickly arrived at the scene.
The body was subsequently transported to a government hospital for an autopsy. Authorities opened an investigation and District Superintendent of Police Adnan Nayeem Asmi visited the village to look into the matter.
A letter was also included in the parcel, demanding Rs 1.30 crore and threatening dire consequences if the family failed to comply.
Police are working to identify the individual who delivered the parcel and have summoned representatives from the Kshatriya Seva Samithi for questioning.
According to law enforcement, the body is that of a male, approximately 45 years old, believed to have died about 4-5 days ago.
The body has been sent for autopsy, and investigations are ongoing to determine if foul play was involved.
As part of the inquiry, police are reviewing missing persons reports from nearby police stations.
