Patna, March 1 (NationPress) Union Minister and LJP (Ram Vilas) leader, Chirag Paswan, responded to recent comments by contrasting the 15 years of RJD governance with the 20 years of NDA administration.

He remarked that such comments are not befitting of an opposition leader.

While addressing journalists in Patna, Chirag Paswan encouraged Tejashwi Yadav to concentrate on policy issues.

He stated: "They should express their views grounded in policies. This manner of speaking undermines the dignity associated with their roles."

Chirag Paswan underscored that this is a crucial election year, and with the NDA progressing towards success—evidenced by leaders from all NDA factions engaging with the public and fortifying the organization—it is understandable for the opposition to feel anxious.

He noted that their concerns are exacerbated by internal strife within their coalition. He indicated that there is a significant communication gap between the RJD and Congress.

Moreover, he observed that following the appointment of a new Congress in-charge, Congress seems less deferential to the RJD than before, which is creating discomfort within the opposition.

“These challenges are prompting them to issue various statements,” he stated. Paswan added that the electorate has already cast their judgment in the by-elections and will render their final decision in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections. The upcoming months leading to the assembly elections are likely to yield favorable results for the NDA.

In response to the opposition's remarks concerning the potential political involvement of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's son, Nishant, Paswan commented, "This is a choice for them and their family to make. Should Nishant decide to enter politics, we would welcome him."

Paswan confidently asserted that the NDA aims to secure 225 seats and reestablish the government.

When questioned about the backgrounds of Tejashwi Yadav's cabinet members in previous times, Paswan quipped, "When one points a finger at others, four fingers point back at themselves."

He also reminded that the entire Lalu family has once again been summoned in connection with corruption-related issues.
