Amaravati, April 8 (NationPress) The younger son of Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, Mark Shankar, has sustained burns due to a fire incident at his school in Singapore.
As reported by the Jana Sena Party, which is led by Pawan Kalyan, the seven-year-old Shankar suffered burns on his hands and legs during the unfortunate event. He is also dealing with complications from smoke inhalation and is presently receiving medical care at a hospital.
The actor-turned-politician, who was visiting the Alluri Seetharamaraju district, was informed of the incident. He plans to abbreviate his trip to head to Singapore. The Jana Sena suggested that he travel to Singapore immediately.
However, Pawan Kalyan mentioned his commitment to visit Kuridi village near Araku on Monday to address the concerns of the tribal community. He expressed the intention to complete the inauguration of development programs before departing for Singapore.
According to Jana Sena leaders, after concluding his tribal area tour, Pawan Kalyan will travel to Visakhapatnam and then proceed to Singapore.
Shankar was born in 2017 to Pawan Kalyan and his third wife, Anna Lezhneva. He is the youngest among the actor's four children.
The actor-politician is also a father to Akira and Aadhva, from his previous marriage to Renu Desai, which ended in divorce in 2012.
Pawan Kalyan has a daughter named Polena and a son named Mark Shankar with Anna Lezhneva, a Russian national whom he married in 2013.
In the meantime, Nara Lokesh, the State Education and Information Technology Minister, expressed his shock upon learning about the school fire in Singapore that caused burns to Pawan Kalyan's son Shankar.
“Wishing him a swift and complete recovery. Sending strength and prayers to the family during this challenging time,” Lokesh tweeted on X.
