Chennai, April 10 (NationPress) Expressing heartfelt thanks to everyone who offered prayers and well-wishes for the swift recovery of Mark Shankar, the young son of actor and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, Mega star Chiranjeevi announced on Thursday that the child has now safely returned home.
It is important to note that Mark Shankar had suffered injuries from a fire incident that occurred at his school in Singapore, where he was receiving medical treatment.
Chiranjeevi shared the joyous news on his Instagram, stating in Telugu, "Our son Mark Shankar is back home. However, he still requires recovery time. By the blessings of our family deity, Lord Anjaneya, we hope he will regain full health soon.
“Tomorrow marks Hanuman Jayanti, and we are grateful that the Lord protected our child from a grave danger and potential tragedy.
“On this occasion, we have felt the support from everyone in their respective communities, sending their wishes for Mark Shankar’s quick recovery. On behalf of myself, my younger brother Kalyan Babu @pawankalyan, and our family Yavanmandi, we sincerely thank you all.”
It’s worth mentioning that Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, actor Chiranjeevi, and his wife rushed to Singapore upon learning of Mark Shankar’s injuries in the fire incident.
Reports indicate that the fire was extinguished within 30 minutes by the first responders who were on the scene.
Additionally, it was reported that a total of 19 individuals were injured, including 15 students, all of whom were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The local media reported that rescuers found the fire on the second and third floors of the building upon arrival.
Eyewitnesses and construction workers in the vicinity reportedly assisted in the rescue of the children trapped in the fire.
