Amaravati, April 8 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi communicated with Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan via phone to inquire about his son Mark Shankar, who was hurt in a fire incident at a school in Singapore. The seven-year-old experienced injuries to his hands and legs during the unfortunate event at the educational institution he attends.

Additionally, he faced smoke inhalation and is presently receiving treatment at a hospital.

The Prime Minister engaged with Pawan Kalyan, who was visiting Alluri Seetharamaraju district, to ask about his son’s health. He expressed hopes for the child's swift recovery.

According to Jana Sena leader and state minister Nadendla Manohar, the Prime Minister promised all necessary support to Pawan Kalyan.

Manohar also expressed gratitude towards the school staff who saved Mark Shankar.

Unfortunately, one individual lost their life and 15 others were injured during the incident, which transpired amid a school event.

The actor-politician plans to depart for Singapore from Visakhapatnam later today.

Pawan Kalyan’s elder brother, megastar K. Chiranjeevi, along with his wife, will also head to Singapore.

Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh Governor S. Abdul Nazeer has conveyed his concern regarding the injuries sustained by Mark Shankar during the school event in Singapore.

The Governor wished for a speedy recovery for Shankar, who is currently under medical care in a Singapore hospital.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu also expressed his concern about Mark Shankar's injuries from the fire and hoped for his quick recovery.

Ministers and members of Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena Party, along with numerous well-wishers, shared their worries upon learning about the event.

Former Chief Minister and YSR Congress Party President Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed his shock on ‘X’ regarding the school fire accident in Singapore that injured Pawan Kalyan’s son.

“My thoughts are with the family during this challenging time. I wish him a rapid and full recovery,” he stated.

Mark Shankar, born to Pawan Kalyan and his third wife Anna Lezhneva in 2017, is the youngest among the actor’s four children.
