New Delhi, Dec 1 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday sent his warm regards on the occasion of BSF Raising Day, stating that their vigilance and courage play a crucial role in the safety and security of the nation.

The Border Security Force is commemorating its 60th Raising Day, marking its establishment in 1965.

The Prime Minister praised their dedication and service. In his message, he emphasized the BSF's function as a key line of defense, recognizing their outstanding service.

PM Modi stated on X, "Heartfelt congratulations to the Border Security Force on their Raising Day! The BSF serves as an essential line of defense, exemplifying courage, dedication, and exceptional service. Their vigilance and courage are vital for the safety and security of our nation."

As the BSF celebrates this significant day, they reaffirmed their commitment to their motto. "As #BSFturns60 today, we, the Seema Prahari, proudly recommit ourselves to serving our nation. We remain unwavering in our dedication to uphold our motto."

Union Home Minister Amit Shah remarked on this occasion that the soldiers never hesitate to sacrifice their lives for the country.

HM Shah tweeted on X, "The soldiers of the @BSF_India have protected the honor and aspirations of Bharat with unparalleled determination, never hesitating to make the ultimate sacrifice. Their valor and sacrifices are an everlasting source of inspiration that has motivated generations of patriots to ensure our nation's enduring success. My heartfelt tribute goes to the bravehearts who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty."

Shobha Karandlaje, the Union Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Labour & Employment, also expressed her warm regards to the courageous personnel of the BSF.

The BSF is recognized as the world's largest border-guarding force, securing the extensive 6,386.36 km long International Borders with Pakistan and Bangladesh.

On this Raising Day, the Border Security Force reiterated its commitment to the nation and its motto of ‘lifelong duty’.
