Patna, Sep 2 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his deep anguish regarding the abusive remarks directed at his mother during a political rally in Bihar. He emphasized that this was not merely an affront to his late mother, but a disrespect towards all mothers across the nation.
Condemning the 'gaali politics' and the declining standards of political dialogue in Bihar, PM Modi noted that insults were hurled at his mother—who has passed away—during a Congress-RJD event, leaving him profoundly hurt.
“As a son, this situation is incredibly painful for me. I never envisioned politics sinking to this level,” he stated while addressing a gathering of women in Bihar via video link.
Criticizing Congress-RJD, PM Modi asserted that the insults aimed at his mother have ultimately shamed all mothers in the country, and the people of Bihar will not forgive this disgraceful act.
He invoked the terms ‘naamdar’ and ‘kaamdar’ to criticize the Opposition, indicating that such abusive behavior stems from their elitist mindset and their belief that those from less fortunate backgrounds are at their mercy.
PM Modi remarked that naamdars (individuals from affluent families) feel entitled to demean and insult kaamdars, referring to hardworking individuals who have forged their own paths.
“Those who are born into privilege can never fathom the hardships and sacrifices our mothers endure while raising their children,” PM Modi articulated.
He also referenced the derogatory language used on the political stage in Bihar, particularly pointing out Rahul Gandhi's remarks during the Voter Adhikar Yatra, labeling it a testament to their anti-women mentality.
PM Modi urged the youth of Bihar, both men and women, to hold accountable those political parties that fail to recognize and respect the invaluable contributions of women in society.
“I may choose to forgive such a blatant insult, but this land of Bihar will never forget those who insult our mothers,” PM Modi concluded.
