Bhubaneswar, March 5 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday honored the former Chief Minister of Odisha, Bijayananda Patnaik, affectionately referred to as Biju Babu, on the occasion of his 109th birth anniversary.

Recognizing his significant contributions, the Prime Minister shared on X, “Remembering Biju Babu on his birth anniversary. We cherish his efforts towards the development of Odisha and the empowerment of its people. He was also a dedicated supporter of democratic principles, firmly opposing the Emergency.”
