Itanagar/Imphal, Nov 15 (NationPress) In an effort to enhance educational opportunities for tribal populations in isolated regions, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday conducted a virtual ceremony to lay the foundation stone for an Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS) at Kombo, located in the West Siang district of central Arunachal Pradesh.
A senior official revealed that the EMRS will be developed by the Union Ministry of Tribal Affairs, with the aim of offering quality education, residential amenities, and comprehensive growth opportunities to tribal students residing in remote and tribal-dominated areas.
