PM Modi Launches Initiatives Valued at Rs 46,300 Crore in Rajasthan

New Delhi, Dec 17 (NationPress) The inaugural year of the BJP administration in Rajasthan has established a solid base for numerous years of advancement, declared Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday during the unveiling of projects totaling over Rs 46,300 crore.
PM Modi remarked that the administration under Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has worked diligently to enhance the legacy of good governance over the past year, implementing decisions aimed at uplifting underprivileged families, women, laborers, Vishwakarmas, and nomadic tribes.
He pointed out that both the Central and State governments are swiftly executing infrastructure initiatives by promptly delivering on their commitments, with Tuesday's event being a pivotal aspect of this vow.
The 24 projects that were inaugurated or had their foundation stones laid on Tuesday encompass areas such as Energy, Roads, Railways, and Water, including the interlinking of 11 rivers within the state.
PM Modi added that this event not only marked the completion of one year of governance but also represented the radiance of Rajasthan and a celebration of progress in the desert state.
Addressing issues such as paper leaks and employment scams that lingered from the previous administration, PM Modi acknowledged the struggles faced by the youth in the past, but affirmed that the current government has initiated the process of resolving these challenges.
Praising CM Sharma and his team for steering development initiatives in a new direction and at an accelerated pace, the PM stated that the BJP government in Rajasthan has generated thousands of job opportunities in just one year.
Reflecting on his recent attendance at the Rising Rajasthan Summit 2024, PM Modi noted the presence of numerous global investors at the event.
The Prime Minister expressed that under the BJP administration, job examinations in the state are being conducted with complete transparency, along with active appointments.
PM Modi mentioned that previously, residents of Rajasthan had to pay higher prices for petrol and diesel compared to other states, but the current government has provided them with relief.
He also reminded citizens that the Centre now directly deposits funds into the bank accounts of farmers through the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, with the state government contributing additional funds to assist farmers.
Addressing the delays in the Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project (ERCP), PM Modi stated that his administration believes in collaboration and solutions rather than opposition and hurdles. He noted that his government has approved and expanded the ERCP.
PM Modi emphasized that once the BJP governments were established in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, an agreement was made regarding the Parbati-Kalisindh-Chambal link project, which will interconnect the Chambal River and its tributaries, including Parbati, Kalisindh, Kuno, Banas, Ruparel, Gambhiri, and Mej rivers.
The PM expressed his vision for a future where Rajasthan will no longer experience water scarcity.
Discussing the advantages of the Parbati-Kalisindh-Chambal project, PM Modi stated that it will deliver irrigation and drinking water to 21 districts in Rajasthan while fostering development in both Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.
