Prime Minister Modi to Launch Rs 46,300 Crore Initiatives in Rajasthan Tomorrow

Jaipur, Dec 16 (NationPress) On December 17, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Rajasthan to launch initiatives totaling Rs 46,300 crore in Jaipur.
During his visit, PM Modi will take part in the ‘Ek Varsh-Parinaam Utkarsh’ event, which marks the completion of one year of the Rajasthan government, where he will inaugurate and lay the groundwork for 24 initiatives pertaining to energy, roads, railways, and water, amounting to over Rs 46,300 crores.
Among these, he will inaugurate nine projects valued at over Rs 11,000 crore. This includes seven initiatives from the central government and two from the state government, while also laying the foundation for 15 new projects costing over Rs 35,300 crore, which comprise nine central and six state government projects.
Highlighted projects include the Navnera Barrage, Smart Electricity Transmission Network, and the Railway Electrification of the Bhildi-Samdari-Luni-Jodhpur-Merta Road-Degana-Ratangarh section, along with the Package 12 of Delhi-Vadodara Green Field Alignment (NH-148N) project, a major bridge over the Mej River leading to the junction with SH-37A, among others.
These projects are expected to ease commuting and meet the energy demands of the state, in line with the Prime Minister's vision for green energy.
Additionally, PM Modi will lay the foundation for the construction of Ramgarh Barrage and Mahalpur Barrage, as well as the system to transfer water from Navnera Barrage to Bisalpur Dam and Isarda Dam via an aqueduct on the Chambal River, at a cost exceeding Rs 9,400 crore.
He will also initiate the installation of rooftop solar plants on government buildings, develop a 2000 MW solar park, and commence phases for two 1000 MW solar parks in Poogal (Bikaner), in addition to a drinking water transmission line from Saipau (Dholpur) to Bharatpur-Deeg-Kumher-Nagar-Kaman and Pahari, along with Chambal-Dholpur-Bharatpur retrofitting work.
Furthermore, the foundation stone will be laid for enhancements related to the Luni-Samdari-Bhildi Double Line, Ajmer-Chanderiya Double Line, and Jaipur-Sawai Madhopur Double Line railway projects, along with various energy transmission initiatives.
