Chandigarh, Aug 17 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi once again lauded the leadership of Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, emphasizing that under his guidance, the provision of government jobs to the youth is based solely on merit and transparency.
The Prime Minister made these remarks during an event in New Delhi, marking the launch of the Dwarka Expressway and UER-II National Highway projects, which connect Delhi and Haryana, with a total investment of approximately Rs 11,000 crore.
He reflected on a time when the Congress was in power in Haryana, noting that securing government positions for the youth was nearly impossible without “parchi and kharchi”. However, he asserted that the BJP government has radically changed this paradigm.
According to the Prime Minister, the BJP has facilitated government job opportunities for lakhs of youth in Haryana, which are grounded in merit and transparency, a commitment that Chief Minister Saini continues to uphold. He mentioned that the government’s persistent goal is to ease the lives of the populace, a fact evident in its policies and decisions.
In response, CM Saini expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister, stating that the Prime Minister’s guidance and support are invaluable to the state government. He reiterated that offering transparent and merit-based opportunities to the youth is the government's primary focus, with Haryana setting a new standard in this regard nationwide.
He expressed optimism that, with the Prime Minister's blessings, Haryana would continue to progress rapidly along the route of development and effective governance.
During the event, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated two significant development projects worth Rs 2,000 crore that will have a direct positive impact on Haryana. These include the construction of two four-lane connectivity roads to Sonipat and Bahadurgarh as part of the Urban Extension Road-II project.
CM Saini noted that Haryana, being a vital industrial and agricultural center of north India, stands to gain significantly from these initiatives. He added that these essential projects will enhance exports, imports, and investments by ensuring direct connectivity from Kundli, Sonipat, Bahadurgarh, Gurugram, and Manesar to Delhi Airport, while also alleviating long-standing traffic congestion in the area.
