New Delhi, March 31 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Gujarat on Tuesday to officially open the Samrat Samprati Museum located at Koba Tirth in Gandhinagar, alongside launching several pivotal development initiatives throughout the state that encompass cultural, technological, and infrastructural advancements.

In a social media post preceding his visit, the Prime Minister remarked: “The Samrat Samprati Museum stands as a significant homage to the profound heritage of Jainism and the rich traditions of India’s civilization. It aims to offer visitors a chronological perspective of Jainism's evolution and its invaluable contributions to humanity.”

At approximately 10:00 a.m., coinciding with Mahavir Jayanti, Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the museum, situated within the Mahavir Jain Aradhana Kendra campus.

Named after Samrat Samprati, the esteemed grandson of Emperor Ashoka and a significant figure in Jain history, the museum comprises seven wings, each dedicated to a unique facet of India’s civilizational heritage.

Visitors will have the opportunity to explore over 2,000 rare artifacts, which include meticulously crafted stone and metal idols, extensive Tirth Patta and Yantra Patta, miniature paintings, silver chariots, coins, and ancient manuscripts.

The exhibits are enhanced with modern audio-visual and digital installations, providing an immersive experience for scholars, researchers, and general visitors alike.

The Prime Minister emphasized, “This museum not only safeguards our heritage but also highlights the remarkable Jain culture and its lasting impact on society.”

At 12:45 p.m., Prime Minister Modi will also inaugurate the Kaynes Semicon Plant at Sanand GIDC in Ahmedabad, representing a significant step forward in India’s semiconductor landscape.

“This will further accelerate India’s aspirations to become a semiconductor hub and bolster our self-reliance in high-technology manufacturing,” PM Modi stated.

The facility will commence commercial production of advanced Intelligent Power Modules (IPMs), essential components for both automotive and industrial applications.

Each module will contain 17 chips and will be provided to California-based Alpha and Omega Semiconductor (AOS).

This plant will mark the second semiconductor facility in India to begin commercial production under the 'India Semiconductor Mission', following Micron Technology.

Upon reaching full capacity, it will produce up to 6.33 million units daily, enhancing the nation’s semiconductor packaging capabilities and advancing India’s vision for self-sufficiency in high-technology manufacturing.

In the afternoon, PM Modi will proceed to Vav-Tharad, where he will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate several development projects valued at over Rs 20,000 crore.

These initiatives span various sectors including Power, Railways, Roads & Highways, Health, Urban Development, Tribal Development, and Rural Development.

Among the major road projects, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the Ahmedabad-Dholera Expressway, an access-controlled highway costing over Rs 5,100 crore, designed to enhance connectivity and facilitate industrial growth in the Dholera Special Investment Region.

Furthermore, he will lay the groundwork for the 4-lane Idar-Badoli bypass and upgrade the Dholavira-Mauvana-Vav-Santalpur NH-754K section into a two-lane paved shoulder carriageway.

Flyovers at Bhaijipura Junction and PDPU Junction will be opened to alleviate traffic congestion on roads accommodating over 140,000 vehicles daily.

In the power sector, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the Khavda Pooling Station-2 along with related transmission systems, facilitating the evacuation of 4.5 GW of renewable energy, with an investment of approximately Rs 3,650 crore.

Railway initiatives include the dedication of the Kanalus–Jamnagar doubling (28 km), part of the Rajkot–Kanalus doubling (111.20 km), and the Gandhidham–Adipur quadrupling (10.69 km).

The Himmatnagar–Khedbrahma gauge conversion (54.83 km) will enhance regional connectivity, and the Khedbrahma–Himmatnagar–Asarwa train service will be inaugurated.

In urban and health infrastructure, the Prime Minister will launch 44 Urban Development projects worth Rs 5,300 crore, 858-bed Rain Basera facilities in Civil Hospitals located in Asarwa (Ahmedabad) and Gandhinagar, as well as the Government Boys Hostel at Vejalpur for tribal students.

Tourism initiatives will feature a Light and Sound Show at Rani ki Vav in Patan, a Water Screen Projection Show at Sharmishtha Lake in Vadnagar, and the groundwork for tourism infrastructure at Balaram Mahadev and Vishweshwar Mahadev in Banaskantha.

In the water sector, significant projects include the Kasara–Dantiwada and Dindrol–Mukteshwar pipelines, along with a water supply scheme for Ambaji and surrounding villages, anticipated to benefit around 1.5 lakh individuals.

Moreover, expansion work on the Sabarmati Riverfront in Gandhinagar, with an estimated investment of about Rs 1,000 crore, will also be initiated.
