Gandhinagar, March 30 (NationPress) On March 31, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Gujarat to officially open the Samrat Samprati Museum located at Koba Tirth in Gandhinagar, as well as to introduce a series of vital development initiatives throughout the state, emphasizing cultural, technological, and infrastructural advancements.

Prior to his visit, the Prime Minister shared his thoughts in a post: “The Samrat Samprati Museum embodies the profound heritage of Jainism and India's civilizational history. It aims to offer visitors a chronological insight into the development of Jainism and its significant contributions to humanity.”

At approximately 10:00 a.m., coinciding with Mahavir Jayanti, PM Modi will inaugurate the museum on the grounds of the Mahavir Jain Aradhana Kendra.

Named after Samrat Samprati, the grandson of Emperor Ashoka and a pivotal figure in Jain history, the museum highlights India's rich historical, cultural, and spiritual legacy.

The museum is composed of seven distinct wings, each dedicated to various facets of India's civilizational heritage.

Guests will have the opportunity to explore over 2,000 rare artifacts, such as finely crafted stone and metal idols, large Tirth Patta and Yantra Patta, miniature paintings, silver chariots, coins, and ancient manuscripts.

The displays, enhanced by modern audiovisual and digital technologies, offer an engaging experience for scholars, researchers, and visitors alike.

The Prime Minister emphasized, “This museum not only safeguards our heritage but also highlights the remarkable Jain culture and its lasting impact on society.”

At 12:45 p.m., he will unveil the Kaynes Semicon Plant at Sanand GIDC in Ahmedabad, marking a significant step forward in India's semiconductor industry.

“This will accelerate India's ambition to become a semiconductor hub, fostering self-reliance in advanced technology manufacturing,” stated PM Modi.

The facility will initiate commercial production of cutting-edge Intelligent Power Modules (IPMs), which are essential for automotive and industrial uses.

Each module comprises 17 chips and will be distributed to California-based Alpha and Omega Semiconductor (AOS).

This plant will be India's second semiconductor facility to start commercial production under the 'India Semiconductor Mission', following Micron Technology.

Once fully operational, it is expected to produce up to 6.33 million units daily, bolstering domestic semiconductor packaging capabilities and furthering India's vision of self-sufficiency in high-tech manufacturing.

The plant also establishes India's second OSAT/ATMP unit and marks the entry of an Indian-origin Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) entity into semiconductor production.

In the afternoon, PM Modi will travel to Vav-Tharad to lay the foundation, inaugurate, and dedicate various development initiatives valued at over Rs 20,000 crore.
