Kolkata, July 17 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced on Thursday that he will deliver a sharp critique of the Trinamool Congress-led government in West Bengal during his public gathering in the industrial town of Durgapur, located in the West Burdwan district, on Friday.
In the evening, the Prime Minister shared two messages on his official X account, hinting at the topics he would address at the upcoming rally.
"The people of West Bengal are enduring hardships due to TMC mismanagement. They are looking towards the BJP with optimism, believing that BJP is the only party capable of bringing about development. I will be speaking at a @BJPBengal rally in Durgapur tomorrow, July 18. I invite everyone to join!" stated PM Modi on X.
Furthermore, he clarified that his visit is not solely for political motives but also for administrative purposes, as he will inaugurate several central initiatives in the state.
"I am eager to engage with the citizens of West Bengal tomorrow, July 18. At an event in Durgapur, I will lay the groundwork for various projects and inaugurate initiatives worth over Rs 5,000 crore. These projects span areas such as oil and gas, power, railways, and roads," PM Modi mentioned in another post on X.
According to the current schedule, the Prime Minister is expected to land at Andal Airport around 2:35 p.m. and will arrive at the rally site by 3 p.m.
The venue will feature two stages: one for the Prime Minister's administrative event, where several projects will be inaugurated virtually, and another for his political address.
The administrative segment is set to occur between 3 and 3:30 p.m., while the political segment will take place from 3:45 to 4:15 p.m.
PM Modi is slated to return to Delhi via flight from Andal at 5 p.m.
