New Delhi, Sep 10 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged in a telephone dialogue with the Amir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, conveying his profound concern regarding the recent assaults in Doha.

“I spoke with Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani and expressed my deep concerns about the attacks in Doha. India condemns any breach of the sovereignty of our allied State of Qatar. We advocate for resolving issues through dialogue and diplomacy, aiming to prevent escalation. India firmly supports peace and stability in the region while standing against terrorism in all forms,” PM Modi shared on X following the call.

This conversation occurred subsequent to the Israeli strikes in Doha on Tuesday.

The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) indicated that PM Modi acknowledged Qatar's role in fostering regional peace and stability, especially its mediation in Gaza to secure a ceasefire and the release of hostages.
