New Delhi, Nov 8 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi's rally in Bettiah on Saturday attracted huge crowds, with attendees praising his address and drawing a stark contrast between the present governance and what they referred to as the “jungle raj” of the past under the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD).

The event, part of the BJP's campaign outreach in Bihar ahead of the crucial second and final phase of voting on November 11, saw a large turnout from Champaran and nearby districts eager to hear the Prime Minister speak. For many, this gathering was more than a political event; it was a testament to their faith in PM Modi's leadership and developmental vision.

Local attendees voiced robust support for the Prime Minister, acknowledging the significant changes they believe have occurred in Bihar over the last decade.

“Today, everyone in Bihar and across India feels secure because of PM Modi. We remember the times when Lalu's government was in charge. It was jungle raj, but just look at us now -- schools and colleges have sprung up, girls are attending school, and the law-and-order situation has seen tremendous improvement,” remarked Barjesh Patel.

Another participant, Vidya Lal Chowdhary, noted that the crowd’s excitement showcased the public’s confidence in PM Modi's governance.

“The turnout was immense; people struggled to find space to stand. We all have witnessed the RJD era. PM Modi has promised to guide us away from any troubles,” he stated.

Adding to the chorus, Gauri Lal Shankar, another local, said, “Lakhs gathered to hear PM Modi. His speech was excellent. Since Modi took office, everyone has benefited from central government initiatives, and development has surged.”

The atmosphere in Bettiah remained electric even after the rally concluded, with locals celebrating what they termed the “return of development” and dismissing the “fear and lawlessness” linked to previous administrations.
