New Delhi, Nov 14 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi, celebrating the NDA's remarkable performance in the Bihar elections, stated that this victory symbolizes a mandate for 'Viskit Bihar'. He also launched a vehement critique of the Congress-RJD alliance for 'misleading' the electorate with baseless allegations of 'vote chori' and fostering divisions based on caste.
Speaking to party workers at BJP headquarters, PM Modi remarked that the people of Bihar have delivered a strong response to the divisive MY formula and the jungle raj of the RJD, effectively shattering their aspirations to reclaim power.
“While I addressed issues of Jungle Raj and Katta Sarkar, the RJD had no qualms, but it clearly agitated the Congress. Let me be clear: Katta Sarkar will never make a comeback in Bihar,” he asserted.
Intensifying his criticism of the Congress, he described it as a parasite that is consuming the votes of its own allies.
Introducing a new term, he referred to Congress as MMC – Muslim League Maoist Congress. He reiterated the ongoing internal strife within the RJD-Congress coalition, highlighting that their infighting was evident during the election rallies, and it would soon become public knowledge.
“In many states, Congress has remained out of power for decades - 35 years in Bihar, 30 years in Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal, and similarly in other regions,” he emphasized.
Focusing on the RJD, he stated that the rampant booth capturing and violence typical of their 'jungle raj' era have ceased to exist, as people now vote based on developmental issues.
He characterized the NDA’s victory as a triumph for Bihar, asserting that the citizens have defeated those who attempted to undermine democracy with their biased campaigns.
Responding to the Congress's comparison of Chhath Puja to a performance, PM Modi criticized both the Congress and RJD for failing to apologize to Chhathi Maiya, stating that one cannot expect them to honor Bihar's rich traditions.
The Prime Minister also commended the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) initiative and praised the Election Commission’s effort to conduct a meticulous purification drive.
“The Bihar elections have demonstrated one important fact. Voters, especially the youth, are taking the purification of the voters' list seriously. The youth of Bihar have backed the voter list purification process. Thus, it is the duty of every party to energize their local units and contribute to this purification effort,” he concluded.
