Patna, Nov 7 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi fiercely criticized the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD)-Congress coalition on Friday, asserting that the opposition is already indoctrinating youth in 'Rangdari' (extortion) and violence.

During a rally in Bihar's Aurangabad, the Prime Minister referenced a viral clip featuring a minor on an RJD stage, suggesting that if Tejashwi Yadav ascends to power as Chief Minister, he would wield a 'katta' (a type of homemade firearm).

He accused the Mahagathbandhan of seeking to resurrect the notorious 'Jungle Raj' characterized by extortion, kidnappings, and an atmosphere of fear in Bihar.

Moreover, he highlighted that the initial phase of polling in Bihar on Thursday showcased an impressive turnout favoring the NDA, particularly among female voters who have distanced themselves from the RJD-Congress alliance.

He pointed out that Aurangabad had endured significant Maoist violence during previous RJD-Congress regimes, asserting that real change only occurred after the NDA government led by Nitish Kumar took charge.

The Prime Minister remarked that during the initial nine years of the Nitish Kumar administration, the then UPA government at the Center did not extend support.

"After 2014, Bihar benefited from a double-engine government," he noted, claiming that the Center allocated three times more funds for Bihar's development.

He accused the RJD-Congress alliance of being unreliable even to its own allies, stating that the RJD disrespected State Congress President Rajesh Ram and offered Congress only those seats they had failed to win for the last 35 to 40 years.

"How can individuals who betray their own allies be trusted by the people of Bihar?" he questioned.

PM Modi also criticized the Congress regarding the 'One Rank One Pension' (OROP) issue, claiming that the Congress delayed OROP for 40 years, whereas the NDA implemented it 11 years ago, investing Rs 1 lakh crore for retired soldiers.

He added that the RJD had previously provided government jobs in exchange for land and labeled its poll manifesto as 'false propaganda'.

He asserted that the NDA has a proven record of accomplishments, citing Article 370, the Ram Temple, and initiatives like free electricity and women's employment assistance.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, addressing a rally in Jamui, stated that the initial phase of polling indicated the elimination of the Lalu Yadav-Rahul Gandhi party from Bihar.

He cautioned that even a minor shift from the lotus (BJP symbol) or arrow (Janata Dal-United symbol) could usher back the 'Jungle Raj' in Bihar.

He noted that Maoism once prevailed in the Jamui–Gaya area but was eradicated during the tenure of the NDA government.

Additionally, he announced that the BJP and NDA are set to construct a grand temple dedicated to Goddess Sita at Punoura Dham in Sitamarhi with an investment of Rs 850 crore.

BJP President J.P. Nadda labeled the RJD rule as a time of scams and Jungle Raj.

While speaking at a rally in the Kalyanpur Assembly constituency of East Champaran district, Nadda remarked, "The RJD's governance was a period marked by Jungle Raj and corruption. Numerous serious criminal incidents have marred Bihar during this time. That was Jungle Raj."

"Do you recall the Shilpi Gautam murder case? Shilpi's remains were discovered in the vehicle of a close associate of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav's brother Sadhu Yadav. The police hushed up the case. Furthermore, B.B. Biswas, a Dalit IAS officer, had his wife, mother, sister, and maid abused. This case dragged on for years, involving the son of an RJD leader. In Siwan, Chanda Babu was extorted for Rs 2 lakh. When he refused to comply, his two sons were killed using acid, and his third son met the same fate. The police advised Chanda Babu to leave Siwan to save his life. Such was the state of Bihar under RJD rule from 1990 to 2005," the BJP President remarked.

He underscored achievements in electricity, airports, Ayushman Bharat, and railway infrastructure as accomplishments of the double-engine government in Bihar.

He also mentioned that the PM Surya Ghar Yojana would provide free solar power, enabling households to earn from surplus electricity.

Furthermore, he indicated that women in Bihar receive Rs 10,000 monthly under the women's employment scheme and promised Rs 2 lakh to support self-employment if the NDA is re-elected in Bihar.
