Patna, Oct 23 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday launched a scathing critique of the opposition in Bihar, emphasizing that the citizens of the state will remember the era of Jungle Raj for the next century.
He stated that regardless of the opposition's attempts to mask its previous errors, the public will never pardon them.
The Prime Minister's comments came as the Grand Alliance declared Tejashwi Yadav as its Chief Ministerial candidate for the forthcoming Bihar Assembly elections.
Referring to the opposition coalition as a “Lathbandhan” (stick alliance) instead of a “Mahagathbandhan,” PM Modi remarked that nearly all its leading figures—from Delhi to Bihar—are currently out on bail.
During the “Mera Booth Sabse Mazboot Yuva Samvad” program, conducted via audio conferencing for BJP supporters, the Prime Minister encouraged them to remind Bihar's youth of the troubling days of Jungle Raj.
“Mobilize the youth at each booth and invite local elders to recount stories of the injustices faced during that period. The people of Bihar must never forget those times,” PM Modi urged.
Pointing out the advancements achieved under the NDA, he noted that Bihar is currently experiencing swift development thanks to stable governance at both the national and state levels.
“Hospitals are being constructed, schools are being established, and new railway lines are being developed. This progress stems from stability and effective governance,” he remarked.
PM Modi expressed that the youth of Bihar are now filled with confidence and optimism regarding the state's future, asserting that Bihar has gained momentum under the NDA.
“This election will initiate a new chapter in Bihar's history, with the youth playing a pivotal role,” he stated, encouraging them to engage in door-to-door outreach to boost voter turnout.
In conclusion, the Prime Minister expressed his belief that a new era of women's empowerment will commence in Bihar on November 14, when the BJP-led NDA is expected to be re-elected.
