Patna, Nov 8 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched a fierce critique against the RJD and Congress, proclaiming that the remarkable voter turnout in the initial phase of the Bihar Assembly elections has sent them a 65-volt shock.

Speaking at a rally in Sitamarhi, he noted that the youth and women of Bihar have overwhelmingly opted for progress and the NDA.

“The proponents of jungle raj have indeed faced a 65-volt shock in this first phase of polling. The youth of Bihar have opted for development; they have chosen the NDA. The sisters and daughters of Bihar have also secured a record victory for the NDA,” stated PM Modi.

He criticized the RJD’s campaign messaging, which he claimed reflected their mentality.

“Just listen to the songs and slogans of these jungle raj advocates. On RJD platforms, innocent children are being encouraged to express a desire to become gangsters. Should a child from Bihar aspire to be a gangster or a doctor?” PM Modi challenged.

He asserted that the NDA provides educational resources, computers, and sports equipment—rather than weapons.

“Jungle raj signifies weapons, brutality, animosity, poor manners, and corruption,” PM Modi remarked, highlighting that leaders like Karpoori Thakur and Bhola Paswan Shastri envisioned social justice and development, which was derailed during the RJD’s rule.

“While the NDA government is enhancing our pilgrimage sites, the Congress and RJD insult our faith. You must have heard the Congress leader's remarks about Chhathi Maiya.

Chhath Mahaparv is a magnificent festival symbolizing the devotion of the mothers and sisters of Bihar. The Congress leader's remark that this celebration is merely a farce is an insult to our traditions, heritage, and culture. Those who disrespect our values must be held accountable. The most effective form of punishment is your vote. Support the NDA candidates and defeat them,” urged PM Modi.

He accused the RJD-Congress coalition of dismantling the industrial framework.

“They lack basic knowledge about industries. Not a single significant factory was established in 15 years. Even the sugar mills in Mithilaanchal were closed. No major hospitals or medical colleges were founded,” he stated.

PM Modi claimed that the NDA era has reversed this trajectory, boasting improved roads, better rail and air connectivity, new power projects, and revitalized manufacturing.

He mentioned the reopening of the Riga sugar mill and assured that more industries would emerge with increased vigor in the upcoming years.

He added that the Centre is encouraging ethanol production to benefit sugarcane farmers.

“Our government is promoting the production of ethanol from sugarcane to support the interests of sugarcane farmers. The BJP and NDA fulfill their promises. Modi’s guarantee signifies a commitment that the promise will be honored. Once the NDA government is reinstated in Bihar, we will further accelerate this development,” he stated.

PM Modi connected development with heritage, invoking Sita and Ayodhya.

“Today, I am in this sacred land of Mother Sita seeking your blessings. Only with her blessings will Bihar transition into a developed state. This election will shape the future of Bihar's children,” he emphasized.

He mentioned praying on this land and referenced the Supreme Court ruling on Ayodhya.

“When a prayer is made from the land of Mother Sita, does it ever go unanswered? That was indeed the case—the Supreme Court ruled in favor of Ramlala,” he noted.

PM Modi also underscored the connectivity improvements under the Ramayana Circuit.

“A direct train service from Sitamarhi to Ayodhya is part of this initiative. Your son-in-law is none other than Lord Rama himself. A grand temple dedicated to Lord Rama has been established in Ayodhya. Now, it’s time for the maternal home of Mother Sita to shine. The magnificence of Punoura Dham will soon be showcased to the world.”

Point of View

The recent statements made by PM Modi reflect a deep-rooted sentiment among voters in Bihar.
