New Delhi, Nov 14 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi remarked on Friday that the remarkable success of the BJP-led NDA in the Bihar Assembly elections signifies a clear mandate against the 'jungle raj' and the appeasement policies employed by the Mahagathbandhan parties.
While addressing a crowd of party supporters at the BJP headquarters, PM Modi emphasized that he made two pivotal appeals to the voters of Bihar: to participate in record numbers and to deliver a robust mandate to the NDA. He noted that the citizens of Bihar responded positively, granting the NDA a formidable mandate.
“The populace of Bihar has voted for a developed and prosperous Bihar. Throughout the election campaign, I encouraged the people of Bihar to achieve record turnout, and they have surpassed all expectations. I called for a decisive victory for the NDA, and the people of Bihar have graciously fulfilled this request,” he stated.
In a critical commentary on the MY (Muslim-Yadav) coalition presented by the Rashtriya Janata Party (RJD) as its core support base, he noted that the youth of Bihar have embraced a new MY formula.
“The people of Bihar have redefined MY – now representing Mahila and Youth. Their dreams and aspirations have effectively dissolved the MY formula previously utilized by certain parties for political gain,” he asserted.
PM Modi also acknowledged the contributions of junior NDA partners such as Jitan Ram Manjhi, Upendra Kushwaha, and Chirag Paswan for their outstanding performance in the elections, while also praising the party's grassroots workers for their dedicated efforts that led to a commanding mandate for the alliance.
