New Delhi, March 18 (NationPress) Following the questioning of former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) regarding the land-for-job scandal, JDU MLC Neeraj Kumar commented, "As you sow, so shall you reap."
In an interview with IANS, Kumar stated, “Lalu Yadav Ji, you amassed wealth and didn't even protect your own family, thus a political curse is bound to ensue. You coerced individuals from Mangru Rai's family and your own relatives to sign documents. The political ramifications are unavoidable. You will forever be remembered as a father and husband who embroiled your entire family in legal troubles, compelling them to appear in court.”
Former Bihar Chief Minister, Rabri Devi, attended the ED office in Patna on Tuesday following a summons in the IRCTC Land-for-Job case.
The ED has also summoned Tej Pratap Yadav, the son of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, marking his first questioning in this case in Patna. He arrived at the ED office separately.
Alongside his comments regarding Rabri Devi, Neeraj Kumar also criticized Tejashwi Yadav concerning crime statistics.
Kumar accused Tejashwi of engaging in "political cyber fraud," asserting, “I say this with full responsibility. The NCRB released the 2022 data in 2023, yet now in March 2025, Tejashwi questions the absence of the 2023 and 2024 data. On what basis are these claims made? You outsource this data. If any crimes occurred in our state, no one has ever supported the criminals. Legal measures have been enacted.
"Your parents bore responsibility when 67,249 murders transpired. Who was held accountable for those crimes? There were approximately 321 assaults on police stations. How many of those cases went to trial and resulted in convictions? The number of fallen police personnel was 1,901. What actions did the state government take in response? Please address these issues. Your data is entirely fictitious,” he told IANS.
Previously, Tejashwi Yadav, the Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Assembly, highlighted the declining law and order situation in Bihar under the administration of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, claiming that the police are operating in fear of criminals.
"An ASI-ranked police officer was killed, and criminals are causing chaos. The Chief Minister has remained silent on this matter," stated Tejashwi Yadav.
"Under Nitish Kumar's governance, Bihar has seen 60,000 murders and 25,000 rapes. This administration has recorded the highest number of police personnel being murdered and assaulted. This was not the case before. Police are now under attack. The Home Minister is absent, and the state’s law and order situation is at its worst," he added.
