New Delhi, July 10 (NationPress) The most effective way to honor educators is through empowerment, stated Priti Adani, the Chairperson of the Adani Foundation, during the celebration of Guru Purnima on Thursday.
Guru Purnima is a festival dedicated to paying tribute to spiritual and academic mentors.
“A wonderful method to honor teachers is by empowering them,” Priti Adani expressed in a message on the social media platform X.
Priti Adani revealed that educators from Adani Schools are being trained to become master trainers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
“Our STEM Leadership Training, in collaboration with the National Institute of Education (NIE), Singapore, is equipping teachers from @Adani_Schools to become STEM master trainers tailored to the Indian context,” Priti Adani noted.
“I am thrilled to see our educators immersing in Singapore’s STEM ecosystem, exploring NIE’s innovative learning environments and acquiring practical knowledge,” the Chairperson of the Adani Foundation added.
Guru Purnima is a significant Hindu festival observed on the full moon day of the Ashadha month, dedicated to honoring teachers, mentors, and spiritual guides. This year, Guru Purnima is celebrated on July 10.
This festival is also recognized by Sikhs, Buddhists, and Jains.
Also called Vyasa Purnima, Guru Purnima commemorates the birth anniversary of sage Veda Vyasa, the author of the Mahabharata and compiler of the Vedas.
