Chandigarh, Jan 28 (NationPress) Following the BJP's nationwide membership campaign, every state unit participating in the 'Sangathan Parv' is undertaking the organizational elections for the booth president, circle president, and district president in a systematic manner within their respective states.

The state election officer for Punjab BJP, Dinesh Singh Babbu, announced on Tuesday that the party plans to finalize the election of district presidents by February 27.

Babbu elaborated that the elections for 24,400 booth committee presidents will occur between February 14 and February 18. The election of 544 circle presidents will take place from February 19 to February 21.

Finally, the elections for the presidents of all 35 organizational districts will be held from February 25 to February 27. To guarantee that these organizational elections adhere to the procedures outlined in the party constitution, the BJP will conduct district workshops in every district from February 5 to February 7, involving district election officers, co-election officers, and circle election officers.

Additionally, details regarding the election process will be shared through circle workshops for each circle unit from February 9 to February 13.

Participants at these workshops will include booth committee heads, Shakti Kendra in-charges, and other invited workers.

A state-level workshop took place in Chandigarh on January 27, featuring BJP national secretary, Punjab co-in-charge and MLA Narinder Singh Raina; national executive member and Himachal BJP co-in-charge Sanjay Tandon; and state general secretary organization Manthri Srinivasulu, who provided extensive insights into the election process.

State Election Officer Babbu, along with State Co-Election Officers Manjit Singh Rai and Mohan Lal Sethi, and State Active Membership in charge Som Prakash, also reported on the election preparation status.
