While dedicating the facility, the Chief Minister noted that he had laid the foundation stone for this initiative in May 2023, and it has now completed ahead of schedule. He emphasized that this project, which spans nine acres, will significantly benefit the public by providing them with citizen-focused services efficiently.
CM Mann remarked that such modern tehsil complexes are being established throughout the state to better serve the community, highlighting that previous administrations overlooked such vital initiatives aimed at improving public service.
"The state was previously under ineffective leadership, which led to significant challenges for the populace," he asserted.
However, since taking office, Mann stated that his administration has prioritized projects of great public significance.
He announced that these facilities are being constructed with future demands in mind, revealing that the government managed to save Rs 1.5 crore during the building process compared to the initial budget.
CM Mann mentioned that a similar Subdivisional complex in Cheeme is also under construction and will soon be opened to the public.
It is a source of pride for him that to date, 49,427 government jobs have been created for the youth, with an additional 700 positions to be announced at an event in Patiala on December 3.
He added that when he took office, only 21 percent of canal water was being utilized in the state, but now 84 percent is being used for irrigation.
Due to the government’s efforts, he noted that the groundwater level is on the rise, as indicated by a report from the Union Government that shows an increase of one metre.
