Chandigarh, April 5 (NationPress) Sunil Jakhar, the President of Punjab BJP, stated on Sunday that farmers throughout Punjab are enduring significant losses due to unexpected rains and hailstorms, while the Chief Minister persists in conducting political events under waterproof coverings.
In a media briefing, Jakhar criticized the state administration for neglecting the farmers' hardships and urged immediate action to perform girdawari (crop damage assessment) and provide compensation.
