Patna, March 12 (NationPress) Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Rabri Devi on Wednesday delivered a fierce critique of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, claiming that he arrives at the Legislative Council after consuming bhang and shows disrespect towards women.
The RJD leader made these remarks following a walkout from the Bihar Legislative Council.
A heated exchange took place in the Council between Rabri Devi and Chief Minister Nitish regarding governance and women's rights.
Rabri Devi criticized the Chief Minister and challenged the ruling party JD(U)'s assertion that "nothing significant occurred in Bihar before 2005."
In response to Rabri Devi's accusations, CM Nitish reminded her that during her tenure as Chief Minister, he, as a Union Minister, witnessed "how no progress was made in Bihar."
Emphasizing the achievements of his administration, CM Nitish highlighted a 50 percent reservation for women in local bodies and advancements in education for girls in Bihar.

"CM Nitish is influenced by five individuals, including Lalan Singh, Sanjay Jha, Vijay Chaudhary, and Ashok Chaudhary, who whisper in his ears and manipulate him," she stated.
She accused Nitish Kumar of repeatedly disrespecting her in the Bihar Legislative Council.
On Tuesday, RJD Chief Lalu Prasad's daughter Rohini Acharya criticized the Nitish government, asserting, "No matter how much you and your media management attempt to propagate false claims about the rule of law in Bihar, the reality is that the entire world recognizes that your governance has deteriorated. You have become synonymous with a helpless, incompetent, and ineffective leader."
Recently, the Leader of the Opposition in the state Assembly and Rabri Devi's son Tejashwi Yadav also criticized the Chief Minister, alleging that he is unqualified to lead the state.
