Jaipur, Dec 5 (NationPress) Governor Haribhau Bagde convened a review meeting on Friday for Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Rajasthan Ayurveda University, emphasizing that the institution should transform into a center for nation-building. He highlighted the importance of transparent examinations, high-quality research, and the intellectual and cultural development of students as vital pillars of excellence.

During the meeting, Governor Bagde, who also serves as Chancellor, discussed various topics including academic advancements, examination reforms, the execution of the New Education Policy, the cultivation of a research-oriented atmosphere, and the promotion of sports and cultural activities.

He stressed the need for the university to become an intellectual hub focused on nation-building and called for a completely transparent, secure examination mechanism.

The Governor encouraged the university to prioritize research on subjects of national significance and to host monthly knowledge-sharing sessions featuring distinguished scholars to enhance academic enrichment.

He underscored the significance of holistic education, advocating for the integration of sports, arts, leadership skills, and practical learning as essential components of student growth. He directed the administration to improve playgrounds, equipment, and creative learning facilities, while also enhancing sports infrastructure.

Moreover, the Governor urged both faculty and students to engage in global academic and research platforms to gain broader exposure.

During his visit, Bagde also assessed the progress and maintenance of the 363 Khejri saplings previously planted on campus. He noted that plantation is not just an activity, but a long-term commitment that necessitates ongoing care, urging the administration to ensure that each sapling matures into a fully developed tree.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Govind Sahai Shukla provided the Governor with updates on the admission status for 2025-26, examination outcomes, the implementation of NEP-2020, ongoing research initiatives, and various MoUs.

He also mentioned that students are earning recognition for the university at state, national, and international levels through their achievements in NSS-NCC, sports, and cultural activities, while Ayurveda-based awareness and welfare programs remain active in the adopted village.
