Key Takeaways
Jaipur, Jan 16 (NationPress) Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma launched a pointed critique of the Congress during the state-level workshop for the VB-G RAM G Public Awareness Campaign at the BJP headquarters in Jaipur.
He accused the opposition of propagating confusion and misinformation, asserting that the Congress has adopted lying and rumor-mongering as its political persona.
The Chief Minister remarked that while Prime Minister Narendra Modi strives to implement the visions of Dr B.R. Ambedkar and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya for the betterment of society, Congress leaders persist in opposing and criticizing every public welfare scheme.
“Whether it is the CAA, EVMs, or SIR, the Congress aims to create confusion on all matters,” he stated.
Commenting on the debate surrounding the title VB-G RAM G, he noted that Congress even raises objections to names.
“We simply derived ‘RA’ from Rajasthan and ‘M’ from Madhya Pradesh, resulting in the ERCP project being named Ram Jal Setu.
If the Congress has an issue with Ram Ji himself, what can we do?” he added, emphasizing that the nation and state are progressing towards Ram Rajya— a model of virtuous governance.
In a fierce indictment, the Chief Minister claimed that since independence, the Congress has undermined the nation through appeasement and corruption.
“This is the age of Modi Ji. Corruption will neither be tolerated nor permitted,” he emphasized, noting that the Congress is agitated because it can no longer engage in corrupt activities.
“The Modi government will unveil any instances of corruption,” he asserted.
CM Sharma accused the Congress of being the leader in disseminating lies and misinformation, and of pursuing a politics of appeasement.
“Exposing these falsehoods has now become our paramount duty,” he declared.
Urging party members, the Chief Minister called for the VB-G RAM G Public Awareness Campaign to reach every village. He mentioned the importance of informing people that under Prime Minister Modi, 125 days of employment are being offered, with wages disbursed within 15 days.
Highlighting the state government's accomplishments, CM Sharma stated that the double-engine government is dedicated to job creation. “Over one lakh youths have been employed, 1.43 lakh recruitments are underway, and a recruitment calendar for one lakh positions has been announced,” he detailed, adding that the government is prepared to present a thorough account to Congress “with pen and paper.”
Regarding paper leak incidents, the Chief Minister stated that approximately 400 individuals are currently imprisoned.
“Now the Congress must decide if these 400 are minor players or significant threats. Let them count the major players,” he remarked.
CM Sharma concluded by asserting that the state administration is advancing with transparency, good governance, and development, and will honor the trust placed in it by the people of Rajasthan.
