Following the family’s account, a formal case was registered on January 11 at the Napasar police station.
Police sources indicate that one of the suspects may be a lawyer.
The investigation is being overseen by Gangashahar Circle Officer Himanshu Sharma.
He confirmed that a medical examination of the victim has been performed, with further inquiries currently in progress. Police stated that additional actions would follow upon receipt of the medical report.
