Jaipur, Oct 21 (NationPress) Rajasthan is on the verge of inaugurating its very first electric bus (e-bus) manufacturing facility in the Ghiloth Industrial Area of Neemrana tehsil, in the Kotputli-Behror district.

The state government has promptly allocated 265,329 square metres (65.56 acres) of land for this ambitious project through RIICO, following an MoU signed during the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit.

PMI Electro Mobility Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is spearheading the establishment of this plant with an initial investment estimated at around Rs 1,200 crore.

In addition to assembly, the facility will produce bus bodies, electric motors, batteries, wire harnesses, and various essential components.

A delegation from PMI Electro Mobility Solutions met with Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma at his residence on Tuesday, expressing appreciation for the expedited land allocation.

During this meeting, the Chief Minister reaffirmed the government's dedication to fostering industrial growth, job creation, and enhancing core infrastructure in Rajasthan.

He remarked that this plant represents a crucial advancement toward fulfilling Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of 'Make in India'.
