Jaipur, May 31 (NationPress) The national president of the BJP and Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda emphasized the crucial role of the "double engine government" in propelling Rajasthan's development forward.
During various events, he commended Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma's leadership and highlighted the transformative influence of the BJP’s governance approach both at the national and state levels.
While addressing the media at Jaipur Airport, J.P. Nadda referred to India's courageous defense operations, such as Operation Sindoor, the surgical strike, and air strikes, as proof of a resilient national response under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“If anyone dares to challenge India, we will respond by entering their territory. Pakistan capitulated in four days,” he remarked, further mentioning that Operation Sindoor is still in progress.
Later, during an event at the Rajasthan International Center (RIC), the BJP leader stressed the necessity of visionary policymaking and ideological dedication in governance.
“It’s not just about appointing Bhajan Lal Sharma as Chief Minister... it’s about placing a committed soldier of our ideology in leadership to serve Rajasthan under PM Modi’s guidance,” he stated, adding: "Only those who have faced darkness appreciate the value of light. You’ve endured the shadows — now, safeguard this light.”
J.P. Nadda also praised the state government's initiatives focused on women, calling them exemplary for the entire nation.
He pointed out programs like "Garbha Ki Pathshala" and the distribution of scooters to schoolgirls, asserting: “Providing a scooty is not merely an act of giving a vehicle — it's about empowering a girl's life.”
He reiterated that the double-engine government serves as a driving force for growth, heralding a new era of “politics of performance” and “politics of accountability”.
On the topic of public health, J.P. Nadda announced that 1.77 lakh Ayushman Arogya Mandirs have been set up across India.
He mentioned that cervical cancer screenings for women over 30 and hypertension screenings for men are now being prioritized to facilitate early detection and prevention of critical health issues.
Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, who was also present at the event, honored Mata Ahilyabai Holkar on her birth anniversary.
“She was a trailblazer of women empowerment and Sanatan Dharma. Inspired by her legacy, our government is committed to women’s upliftment,” stated the CM.
He highlighted several state initiatives, including the employment of 150 Kalika patrolling vehicles, the inauguration of 5 Kasturba Gandhi Girls' Hostels, new hostels for girls in two tribal regions, efforts to make 5,000 villages BPL-free, and the distribution of 26,000 land leases to members of the DNT (Denotified Tribes) community.
The Chief Minister also reiterated Prime Minister Modi’s emphasis on the four core pillars of development: women, farmers, youth, and the underprivileged.
