During a memorial event in Rajouri, the Lieutenant Governor, alongside Lieutenant General MV Suchindra Kumar, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Northern Command; Lieutenant General PK Mishra, GOC of the White Knight Corps; army veterans, public representatives, and senior officials from the Security Forces, J&K Police, and civil administrations, recognized the sacrifices made by all the courageous soldiers and civilians.

“The unparalleled bravery and valor of our soldiers will always be cherished for their unwavering courage, commitment to duty, and profound love for our nation. The exemplary dedication and sacrifices of our soldiers have historically safeguarded us, and their commitment to our nation's integrity and sovereignty will persist in the future. The nation expresses gratitude to these true heroes for their priceless sacrifices,” he remarked.

He also underscored that the legacy of valor demonstrated by Lieutenant Ram Raghoba Rane, Brigadier Mohammad Usman, and all the courageous civilians and soldiers who valiantly faced the enemy, will continue to inspire future generations.

“This land of Rajouri bears witness to the resolve of our Bravehearts and exemplifies their actions. It is also an opportunity to instill the life values of those heroes who sacrificed their lives for the safety of the citizens. Today's event aims to cultivate in the youth the values of those brave individuals who confronted the crisis that challenged Rajouri,” he added.

He highlighted that 'Rajouri Day' symbolizes the indomitable strength of the Indian Army and serves as a reminder that our unity and cultural essence will never be fragmented.
