Bengaluru, May 28 (NationPress) The Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (RUAS) hosted a youth pledge event titled “Yuva Shakti, Bharat Ki Shakti – One Youth, One Nation, One Resolve” on Wednesday, coordinated by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). This unique initiative, which took place across five universities nationwide, united students from diverse fields, who collectively pledged to champion movements like ‘Ek Bharat, Shrestha Bharat’ and Atmanirbhar Bharat.
At RUAS, approximately 4,000 students gathered to affirm the National Youth Pledge, drawing inspiration from the principles of Atmanirbhar Bharat, Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, and the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The event was spearheaded by Prof. Kuldeep Kumar Raina, Vice Chancellor; Prof. Govind R. Kadambi, Pro Vice Chancellor; Dr. R V Ranghanath, Dean Academics; Dr. Sarat Kumar Maharana, Professor & Dean; and Dr. Naina Patil, Associate Dean Academics – RTC, preceded by a cultural invocation and remarks from the Vice Chancellor.
During his address, Prof. Kuldeep Kumar Raina stated, "We stand with the youth, pledging our unwavering support to empower the young minds of our nation, who will guide us towards Atmanirbhar Bharat. We are immensely proud of the AIU for launching this pledge at the national level to harness the potential of youth across the country. It is a privilege to collaborate with AIU in nurturing the youth as the conscience-keepers of Bharat."
