Amaravati, June 27 (NationPress) The industrial evolution of Rayalaseema is underway, as confirmed by Andhra Pradesh minister Nara Lokesh on Friday. The state government has allocated land for Reliance Consumer Products Limited to establish a beverages unit in Oravakal, located in Kurnool district.

The Industries and Commerce department has officially issued an order regarding this land allotment.

Minister Nara Lokesh, who oversees Information Technology and Human Resources Development, shared on X that the government is dedicated to Rayalaseema's progress, with land designated for Reliance Consumer Products Ltd to create a mega beverages unit valued at Rs 1,622 crore.

This facility will produce carbonated beverages, juices, and packaged water, generating 1,200 direct job opportunities for local residents. The minister emphasized that Rayalaseema's industrial transformation is indeed taking shape.

According to the project's timeline provided by the company, land acquisition is expected to conclude by June 30.

The construction of facilities is planned to be finalized by June 15, 2026, with commercial production anticipated to commence by December 31, 2026.

As this investment qualifies as a Mega project, Reliance has requested a special incentive package for the plant.

The State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) recently approved this proposal in a meeting.

In total, Nineteen investment proposals amounting to approximately Rs 28,546 crore, with the potential to create 30,270 jobs, were greenlit during the latest SIPB meeting chaired by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on June 19.

Additionally, the state government has granted approval for G. Infra Precisions Ltd to establish a plant in Anantapur district, also part of the Rayalaseema region.

This company will build a facility to manufacture bi-modular charge systems at Timmasamudram with an investment of Rs 1,150 crore.

The government has issued an order allotting 121.53 acres of land to the company at a rate of Rs 8.30 lakh per acre.

Production is expected to begin within 14 months from the date of land acquisition, offering employment to 299 individuals.
