Recovered from Illness Thanks to Ayushman Bharat, States Jabalpur Beneficiary

Jabalpur, Dec 23 (NationPress) The Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Aarogya Yojana (PM-JAY), a prominent program initiated by the administration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has emerged as a beacon of hope for countless individuals and families afflicted by severe illnesses or life-threatening conditions.

The scheme primarily benefits individuals from the lower economic strata throughout the nation.

In the city of Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, a 72-year-old beneficiary named Komal Prasad Sahu received treatment through Ayushman Bharat and has returned to a state of normalcy.

He and his family express deep gratitude towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi for implementing such a compassionate policy and ensuring it reaches those in need.

Komal Prasad Sahu, residing in the Ramnagar area (Ambedkar ward) of the Ranjhi locality in Jabalpur Cantt, fell ill not long ago and faced grim prospects. Due to their financial situation, accessing hospital treatment seemed impossible for the family.

In their time of need, the Ayushman Bharat Yojana provided crucial assistance. The elderly man was admitted to a hospital and received treatment at the government's expense.

In an interview with IANS, the PM-JAY beneficiary shared that he benefited from up to Rs 1 lakh under the scheme.

“I suffered from illness for a long time but couldn’t afford treatment. Upon learning about the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, I promptly obtained an Ayushman Bharat card,” he stated.

“I am profoundly thankful to PM Modi. It is because of him and his initiative that I have regained my life,” he added.

Post-treatment, Komal Prasad Sahu is now healthy and content.

His son also informed IANS that they lacked the financial means to secure treatment but the PM-JAY has transformed their lives for the better.

“I learned about the Ayushman Bharat scheme through our elected representatives. We owe our gratitude to PM Modi and our legislator for this invaluable assistance,” he concluded.
