Hyderabad, Jan 26 (NationPress) The 76th Republic Day celebrations in Telangana were filled with patriotic enthusiasm on Sunday. Governor Jishnu Dev Varma presided over the festivities by hoisting the national flag at the primary official function held at Parade Grounds, Secunderabad.

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, and their cabinet associates Ponnam Prabhakar, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, and T. Nageswara Rao were present at the event along with senior officials. The Governor observed the vibrant parade featuring various contingents from the state police, NCC, and NSS, and received the salute from the march past.

Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari, Director General of Police Dr Jithender, and Military College of EME Commandant Lieutenant General Neeraj Varshaney were also in attendance. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy raised the national flag at his residence in Jubilee Hills and paid floral tributes to the portraits of Mahatma Gandhi and the architect of the Indian Constitution, Dr B R Ambedkar.

Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari led the Republic Day celebrations at Dr B. R. Ambedkar State Secretariat, attended by top bureaucrats and IAS officials.

Chief Justice of Telangana High Court Justice Sujoy Paul also raised the national flag at the High Court premises, with judges, lawyers, and staff participating in the event. Celebrations were also organized at political party offices.

Union Minister for Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy unfurled the national flag at the BJP office in Barkatpura. Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Mahesh Kumar Goud led the celebrations at the party headquarters Gandhi Bhavan.
