Bengaluru, March 23 (NationPress) The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has expressed its commitment to cultivate a unified and structured Hindu community aimed at achieving global peace and prosperity during the Sangh Centenary celebration.

This commitment was articulated at the Akhil Bhartiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS) convened in Bengaluru.

RSS Sarkaryawah Dattatreya Hosabale unveiled the resolution on Sunday while addressing the media on the concluding day of the ABPS session.

The resolution articulates, “For ages, Hindu society has embarked on a remarkable journey towards the goal of fostering human unity and universal welfare. With the support and endeavors of Saints, Seers, and esteemed individuals, including remarkable women, our rashtra has persevered through numerous challenges.”

“In 1925, Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar founded the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh to eliminate the weaknesses that had infiltrated our nation's fabric over time and to elevate Bharat to the zenith of glory (Paramvaibhav) as a disciplined, moral, and formidable nation. Through the establishment of daily Shakha, Doctor Hedgewar initiated a distinctive man-making methodology, which transformed into a selfless endeavor for national rejuvenation aligned with our timeless traditional values and principles. This initiative, during his lifetime, expanded across the country. The advancement of contemporary systems across various facets of national life, guided by eternal philosophy, commenced under the visionary leadership of the Second Sarsanghachalak, Pujaniya Sri Guruji (Madhav Sadashiv Golwalkar),” the resolution states.

“Throughout this century-long journey, enriched with values from daily Shakha, the Sangh has garnered unwavering trust and affection from society. Over this period, Sangh Swayamsevaks have endeavored to unite all individuals through love and compassion, transcending accolades and criticisms, preferences and aversions. As we commemorate the Sangh’s centenary year, it is our responsibility to honor the 'pujya' saints and virtuous individuals (sajjan shakti) in society whose blessings and assistance have been instrumental in overcoming challenges, the selfless Karyakartas who have dedicated their lives, and the Swayamsevak families who have shown silent commitment,” the statement adds.

“With its ancient culture and rich traditions, Bharat possesses the experiential wisdom necessary to create a harmonious world. Our philosophy safeguards humanity from divisive and destructive tendencies, ensuring peace and a sense of unity among all beings, both living and non-living,” the resolution states.

The Sangh asserts that Hindu society can effectively fulfill its global responsibilities only through an organized and collective life, grounded in self-confidence rooted in Dharma. “Thus, we are committed to establishing a model society that embraces harmonious practices, rejects all forms of discrimination, promotes value-centered families based on an eco-friendly lifestyle, and fosters a society fully engaged in selfhood and civic responsibilities,” the resolution states.

This initiative will empower us to build a robust national life, materially prosperous yet spiritually rich, addressing societal challenges and resolving all issues, according to the resolution.

“The ABPS resolves to showcase a role model to the world of a harmonious and organized Bharat, uniting the entire society under the guidance of noble individuals,” the resolution concludes.

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat inaugurated the three-day ABPS meeting, the apex decision-making body of the Sangh, on Friday (March 21).
