New Delhi, Jan 26 (NationPress) The Delhi BJP president, Virendra Sachdeva, criticized the governing Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), alleging a clandestine alliance with the Congress for the forthcoming Delhi Assembly elections. He asserted that the two factions are feigning opposition while, in reality, they are collaborating to deceive the residents of Delhi with their theatrics. Sachdeva expressed his discontent with the Kejriwal-led AAP after hoisting the national flag at the BJP office during the 76th Republic Day celebrations.

He also mocked AAP's recent promotional material, which depicted Arvind Kejriwal as the only honest politician, labeling other politicians as 'dishonest.'

Sachdeva, in an interview with IANS, directly criticized former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and the AAP, especially their electoral commitments.

In response to Kejriwal's accusations that the BJP had plagiarized AAP's manifesto, Sachdeva countered, “Our Sankalp Patra (manifesto) is dedicated to the citizens of Delhi, featuring welfare initiatives aimed at their requirements. Kejriwal's evident frustration shows he understands that AAP is likely to face defeat in the upcoming elections.”

He continued, “Kejriwal has resorted to the lowest political antics. His desperation is now visible through the distribution of cash and alcohol, as evidenced by a viral video showcasing AAP workers allegedly bribing women for votes.”

Further criticizing the opposition, Sachdeva stated, “The citizens of Delhi have sufficient reasons to reject both Arvind Kejriwal and Rahul Gandhi. These two corrupt leaders are merely two faces of the same coin. Their alliance is apparent from their collaboration during Chandigarh’s mayoral election,” he remarked.

Sachdeva maintained that the citizens of Delhi are astute enough not to be misled by such political performances.

He also emphasized allegations against Kejriwal's administration, particularly concerning the fatalities of children due to sewage and flooding problems in Delhi.

“If there is any accountability for the tragic deaths of those children, it falls squarely on Arvind Kejriwal and his corrupt regime. These incidents are not mere accidents—they are murders resulting from governmental incompetence,” he stated, calling for accountability from Kejriwal's leadership.

“The citizens of Delhi will no longer endure this corrupt alliance,” the Delhi BJP chief concluded.
