Delhi BJP Claims AAP and Congress Are Deceiving Voters with Their 'Friendly Fight'

New Delhi, Dec 26 (NationPress) Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva has accused the ruling AAP and Congress of participating in a friendly fight to mislead voters, stating on Thursday that both corrupt parties are merely two sides of the same coin as they fight for their existence in the approaching Assembly election.

Sachdeva asserted: "Congress exploited Delhi for 15 years before the AAP government established its own corruption network over the past 10 years, and the BJP has been battling both of these parties, which act as each other's 'B-team'."

He added, "Facing a significant defeat in the Assembly election, the two members of the INDIA bloc are attempting to appeal to a specific voter demographic to secure a few seats and maintain their relevance in Delhi politics."

The AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal and Congress leader Ajay Maken are long-time allies who even created a coalition government in Delhi and supported each other during the recent Lok Sabha elections, Sachdeva pointed out.

He questioned, "Where was the rivalry between these two parties when Kejriwal was transporting Congress candidates for the Lok Sabha elections in his vehicle and soliciting votes for them?"

Sachdeva remarked that AAP leaders like Kejriwal and Atishi, who were previously seen engaging with Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, are now pretending to be rivals.

"Voters must remember that casting a ballot for the AAP in the Assembly elections is akin to voting for the Congress, and vice versa. It is solely the BJP that has been combating these two corrupt parties for the last 26 years and will persist in doing so," he emphasized.

Sachdeva's recent accusations of an alleged alliance between AAP and Congress came on the heels of Chief Minister Atishi's claim that the BJP is financing the election campaigns of several Congress candidates in the city.

He stated, "It only takes one fool to ruin paradise, but in Delhi, we are not just dealing with one incompetent individual but two – Kejriwal and CM Atishi."
