Delhi BJP Leader Accuses AAP of Public Extortion

New Delhi, Nov 30 (NationPress) Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva on Saturday claimed that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is extorting money from the public in the national Capital.

This allegation arose after the BJP unveiled a supposed audio recording of AAP MLA Naresh Balyan allegedly conversing about extortion with a gangster to target a businessman.

In a statement to IANS, Sachdeva remarked, "Arvind Kejriwal's criminal face is now apparent. He is currently out on bail, and his MLA is implicated in robbing the public. Based on the audio clips circulating on social media, Naresh Balyan, the MLA from Uttam Nagar, is advising gangsters, directing them to threaten individuals and extort money, which is subsequently shared."

"This is the state of the AAP MLAs, who were chosen to serve the public but are now taking advantage of them. This reveals the genuine criminal nature of the AAP," he added.

Previously, during a press briefing, Sachdeva accused Balyan of being directly engaged in extortion and urged investigating authorities to take prompt action.

"The MLA himself is charged with utilizing gangsters to extort money from his close contacts, including a builder. Authorities must investigate and ensure that such individuals are incarcerated. The safety of Delhi residents is at risk, and action is crucial based on the evidence presented," he stated.

Sachdeva also expressed worries about the supposed links between Balyan and gangster Kapil Sangwan, known as "Nandu", who is reportedly operating from London.

"Earlier, the BJP accused Naresh Balyan of collaborating with Kapil Sangwan. Sangwan is a resident of Najafgarh and has been implicated in the murder case of INLD leader Nafe Singh," Sachdeva mentioned.

He further criticized AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal for evading responsibility.

"Kejriwal consistently blames the Centre for the declining law and order in Delhi but never tackles issues within his jurisdiction, such as water supply and road conditions," Sachdeva told IANS.

He questioned why Kejriwal steers clear of discussing significant matters like poor road conditions, issues with water supply, electricity bills, or the alleged corruption linked to the 'Sheesh Mahal' and the excise policy case.

"He should prioritize addressing his governance failures instead of making irrelevant comments. The people of Delhi deserve accountability," Sachdeva concluded.
