Sadhguru Expresses Concern Over Parliamentary Disruptions Affecting Wealth Creators

New Delhi, Dec 12 (NationPress) Jaggi Vasudev, the founder of Isha Foundation, on Thursday voiced his disappointment over the continuous disruptions occurring in the current session of Parliament, particularly in relation to privately owned businesses and large corporations.
“It is disheartening to witness disruptions in Parliament, especially when we aim to be a shining example of democracy for the world,” the spiritual leader remarked.
Using his social media platform on X, he advised, “The wealth creators and job providers of India should not be subjected to political rhetoric.”
The spiritual leader further proposed that if any discrepancies arise, they should be addressed legally and not be turned into a political football.
“For Bharat to transform into a Bhavya Bharat, Indian businesses must prosper,” Sadhguru from Coimbatore stated.
Sadhguru's comments come amid the ongoing Winter session of Parliament, which is slated to conclude on December 20, as it experiences frequent adjournments over various issues.
The Congress-led Opposition has been criticizing the government for allegedly favoring a select few business entities, while NDA leaders have accused the INDIA bloc of corruption, alleging that the former Congress president has links with an organization reportedly funded by the George Soros Foundation, known for supporting the notion of an independent Kashmir.
The foundation has faced accusations of promoting narratives that challenge India’s sovereignty, including advocating for Kashmir's independence.
Recently, the INDIA bloc introduced a no-confidence motion against Rajya Sabha chairman Jagdeep Dhankar, accusing him of displaying partisan behavior and serving as a spokesperson for the government.
The INDIA bloc held Jagdeep Dhankar accountable for the continual stalling and disruption of the House, citing his ‘headmaster-type attitude’ and treating ‘Parliament like a school.’
In defense of their position against Jagdeep Dhankar, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge stated: “We had no choice but to proceed with this notice. For three years, he has acted in a partisan manner. He has provided ample time to the treasury benches while denying the Opposition the opportunity to voice their opinions and also resorted to schooling the Opposition leaders like a headmaster.”
