Jaipur, March 25 (NationPress) Haji Salman Chishti, Chairman of the Chishti Foundation, has expressed his support for the Saugat-e-Modi campaign, a venture initiated by the BJP Minority Morcha.

This campaign aims to distribute special kits to 32 lakh underprivileged Muslims across India in preparation for Eid, enabling them to celebrate the festival without any difficulties.

The launch took place on Tuesday at Delhi’s Nizamuddin Dargah under the leadership of BJP President J.P. Nadda. As part of this initiative, 32,000 Minority Morcha workers will team up with 32,000 mosques across the nation to assist those in need.

During the event, Haji Salman Chishti called the initiative a ‘commendable’ step, stating: “India teaches us to care for each other. We are a family in this country. This initiative will connect the masses and bring joy to Eid celebrations. We will pray in Ajmer for the well-being of all. Let us pledge to support one another, work together, and move forward for the progress of our nation.”

He also conveyed his appreciation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, asserting that this initiative will spread happiness and enhance the bond of love within the country.

Syed Meraj Chishti, Gaddinashin of Ajmer Dargah, also praised the initiative, indicating that the Muslim community is genuinely pleased with this effort.

“We pray to Khwaja Garib Nawaz to bless PM Modi for his ongoing good work. The kits will assist countless underprivileged Muslims in celebrating Eid with dignity. We extend our prayers for the Prime Minister’s health and success, hoping that he continues to uphold the spirit of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’,” he stated.

Meanwhile, the successor of the Dargah of Khawaja Moinuddin Hasan Chishti, Haji Peer Syed Nafees Mian Chishti, mentioned that the BJP President, following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s directive, announced a special Eid gift for Muslims during Ramazan.

“We are happy as the campaign would strengthen brotherhood, unity, and foster harmony by bridging gaps,” Haji Peer Syed Nafees Mian Chishti remarked.

The initiative has received widespread acclaim for its commitment to supporting the underprivileged, reinforcing the message of unity and inclusivity as the festive season approaches.
