Shivpuri, Nov 27 (NationPress) - On Thursday, Union Minister and Guna Lok Sabha MP Jyotiraditya Scindia paid a visit to Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, the head priest of Bageshwar Dham, during a religious gathering in Shivpuri district, seeking his blessings.
During his address to the attendees, Scindia revealed intentions to erect a 108-foot statue of Lord Shiva in Shivpuri, which is part of his parliamentary constituency.
Later, in a post shared on X, Scindia expressed that his meeting with Shastri brought him a sense of profound peace and described the priest’s blessings as a source of inspiration for service and devotion.
Shastri, who commenced a ‘Shrimad Bhagwat Katha’ in Shivpuri on the same day, suggested to reporters that the Bhagavad Gita and Ramayana should be incorporated into school curricula across the nation.
Furthermore, he called upon Hindu families to protect their children from excessive social media use, labeling it as “social jihad.”
The head priest also stated that every Hindu family should aim to have at least four children, questioning, “If others can have thirty children, why can’t Hindus have four? We will not allow this country to transform into Ghazwa-e-Hind.
In response to inquiries regarding his recent multi-state ‘Pad Yatra,’ Shastri clarified that it was intended to promote Hindu unity and Sanatan Dharma, rather than a political agenda.
“There is no need for a padyatra to delve into politics,” he asserted.
